Had my mom and aunt up here for the weekend which was fun. literally had the boat out four times this week. wakeboarding twice with some new friends and old. then had my cousin up for a night and took his awesome chocolate lab, Page swimming for the first time. She was really fun and looks like a sea otter when she swims. then took my mom and aunt over to running deer, across the lake, to see even more family. it was a lot of fun. Unfortunately i've had night shifts for the past four nights, but hey i still cant complain too much. Charlie made some bomb shrimp pasta last night and between the four of us, we went through 2 bottles of Riesling.
charged the battery for the 650sx yesterday, now got to fiddle with the carburetor until i can get it to idle smoothly. Kudos

jet ski Carrier 90% done
after a few days of work, my 650sx jetski trailer is nearly complete
all i have left is a few screws and bolts to drill in and then i can get someone to help me lift the ski on to the rack
according to my 'calculations' it should hold the 350 lbs ski no problem assuming the center of mass is located fairly close over the main steel beam. this emlimates torsion for all you non engineers and makes the only stress in the beam a bending normal stress..
here are some of the before and after pictures of the rack/carrier/trailer..thingy..
<-- what it started as

Spain Wins the world cup!
unfortunately however, i did not actually watch the game, but i could judge the important plays based the obnoxiously loud reaction of the crowd. luckily we had three people serving for the soccer game, and i still managed a $120 dollar tip day. Man it was crazy though, everyone was screaming in spanish and some guy split a whole pint of coors light on his 4 month year old baby haha.
on another note, i started sanding the trailer rack i plan on turning into a stand up jetski trailer for my 650sx. my dad "obtained" the old rusted, slightly abused trailer rack from one of martins impounded cars
ps.. heres a cool pic of all my $1 tips from three weeks total i think .

7/9/2010, simply a good day

Pretty sweet day today, worked early, rode the motorcycle to work, got paid!!! stupid taxes >:( . But still the biggest paycheck i have ever earned ( it was for 2 weeks though, 70 hours) Had a pretty easy morning though. Later picked up Charlie and Met the Chaparros for a fun afternoon session of wake boarding and tubing.
we even got some good karma on our side for towing in some unlucky boaters back to to heritage.
and ended the day with...drumline please...more bacon burgers!! this time with grilled onions, which i grilled myself : )
If everyday is this fun, the summer would end too soon.

Tractor!!
so Charlie and I get back home from a fun day in slo, and what do we find?
-A TRACTOR!!! an honest to god bright orange tractor with a scooper bucket and everyting
I was skeptical at first when my dad said he bought one, but it is pretty sweet...
It smells like oil, sweat and redneck, but it is pretty sweet to drive even if you cant go very fast

3 weeks in
about 3 weeks into my summer and i gotta say, I'm having a pretty fun time.
been wakeboarding with new and old friends everyday off, got a haircut I desperately needed. got a $40+ dollar tip from some cougars at the bar from a "to go" order and two glasses of wine, TWO nights in a row!! Deposited my first paycheck. Met many people i apparently live in the same neighborhood with. Have Over $500 in CASH tips:) . been cooking more awesome meals with my buddy and new roommate Charlie. Been running more, Doing my Perfect push ups and using my pull up bar. been Canoeing, hiking, scaled the dam. Been Riding my motorcycle every other day. Made Double Western Bacon Cheeseburgers. Eat on the Patio everyday. Been taking more pictures, ate bacon-wrapped Fe-lit Min-gone. Getting my Man-tan on. Making Rum and cokes or drinking beer every evening off. Watching the World Cup at work.
But yeah, most importantly having alot of fun, meeting a lot of people, and creating some good memories.
Kudos
